I visited Ground Zero in New York City. Across the street is a small memorial in an ajoining building. It was perhaps one of the most powerful expieriences I have had in a long time. The unfinished building is a discrace. The city is building another office on a site where americans lost their lives with only a mermorial garden around the back to honnor the lives lost. Money should be used building a full memorial on the site for the dead not another office. Its gonna turn into another place where people died and now people sit and make money. All those who died will just be forgotten. And if thats not bad enough people want to build a mosque within 5 blocks of this site. In my opinion thats like punching the american flag in the face.
